He went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul in 2012. He has also worked at St. Paul Community College as an adjunct instructor. He embraces an holistic approach to nursing care and considers not only the physical needs of his patients, but their emotional and spiritual needs as well. He builds trusting relationships with residents and their families by listening carefully to their individual needs.

In addition to King’s clinical expertise, he is an accomplished musician. He received a degree in Music Performance and Education from McNally Smith College of Music in 2010. He loves Gospel music, and he plays the piano for many churches, chorus groups and schools.
